Closed Question

A closed-ended question refers to any question for which a researcher provides research participants with options from which to choose a response. Closed-ended questions are sometimes phrased as a statement which requires a response.

Nonverbal communication is the transfer of information through the use of body language including eye contact, facial expressions, gestures and more. For example, smiling when you meet someone conveys friendliness, acceptance and openness. Everyone uses nonverbal communication all the time whether they know it or not.

one-sided argument

A one-sided argument can be defined as an argument, as developed by the protagonist at some stage of a constructive discussion, that does not deal with every relevant critical question that the opponent has raised or may still raise

open-ended question

An open-ended question is a question that cannot be answered with a "yes" or "no" response, or with a static response. Open-ended questions are phrased as a statement which requires a longer response. The response can be compared to information that is already known to the questioner.

primary research

Primary research is defined as a methodology used by researchers to collect data directly, rather than depending on data collected from previously done research. Technically, they “own” the data. Primary research is solely carried out to address a certain problem, which requires in-depth analysis.
Example: Out of the four primary research teams in our firm, Suzanne's is the only one without any turnover for three years running, and her team members evaluate her with high marks every year.
